Tony Bullimore
Round the world yachtsman Tony Bullimore became our first patron after being accosted by our chair Christine while out shopping with his wife .Bristolian Tony has opened auctions for us and entertained us with stories of his adventures.
Piers Morgan
Piers Morgan, best known in the UK as a judge on Britain’s Got Talent, became our second patron in 2008. After donating a book for an auction he was approached to be a patron and he declared he was “thrilled to be asked”. Although unable to have a cat himself as he travels so much, he takes a keen interest in our work and follows our activities through our news letters and websites.
Ian Fergusson
BBC weatherman Ian Fergusson offered to become our third patron in 2009 after listening to Radio Bristol’s Breakfast Show.
Ian says “I was struck by a news item we were reporting about The Moggery finding it difficult to re-home black and white cats and white cats. I was very saddened by this and immediately decided to help the charity”.
Ian Promptly adopted a young black cat who now rejoices in the name Phoebe. Ian who is a chartered biologist is a noted shark expert.
